Creating your lease on Elev is a quick five step process that should take you minutes. It's as easy as:
Selecting:
The lease start and end dates
The date you'd like to receive rent
The payment frequency of rent, bi-weekly or monthly

Adding payments:
Add the Rent per month/ pay period
Late rent fee (if this is not required, we suggest typing $0)
Security or damage deposit

Verifying:
Your personal (Host) information, the student's details, and the utilities and furnishings included in the student's rent. These details will be pre-filled, you just have to ensure the right information is filled in, and can make any changes that are needed.

Additional Clause:
Lastly, in the Additional terms section, you can add any special rules or requirements that you and the student have discussed . This will become part of the lease the student signs.

Editing your lease
Once you click submit, your lease will be received by the prospective tenant applicant for their signature. However, you can edit the lease details before the student signs it. Scroll to the bottom of your home page to find the unsigned lease and click Make changes to lease. Once the lease is updated, click submit to apply the changes made.

Once your student tenant signs your lease, payments can now be paid through the app for you to receive. Ensure you've selected your payment method to receive payment.
